🌿 Once Upon a Design Dream

Once upon a time, in a quiet corner of a whimsical forest, a tiny fawn curled up among wildflowers. This peaceful image inspired the Rose Island x PeilieeShop limited collection—a romantic collaboration born from dreams, detail, and a whole lot of patience.

🎨 From Painting to Pattern

The little deer illustration was lovingly hand-painted by Miya before being digitized into a repeating print. But turning it into fabric was no fairytale—our first few prints had issues: colors were too muted, or the fawn lost its charm when scaled.

We tried multiple versions in different sizes and backgrounds, searching for that perfect balance of softness and clarity.

🧵 Countless Trials, Countless Fabrics

We printed and tested more times than we could count—adjusting every shade of brown and every petal of forget-me-not. Some versions looked perfect until worn—where suddenly the fawn felt too big or too small. Even the lace had to match just right. We dyed, stitched, compared, and repeated.

This collection is the result of hundreds of tiny decisions, and hours of care.

🪡 From Sketch to Style

Final designs include a soft A-line dress, a vintage-inspired dungaree, and a fitted corset top—each highlighting Miya’s artwork and balancing dreamy silhouettes with comfortable wearability.

📸 A Fairytale Journey Through Europe

Miya took the finished pieces on a fairytale trip to France, Switzerland, and Italy. Styled with sweet socks and wide-brim hats, the garments came to life under European sun and flower-filled gardens.
